Emmet McGlinchey

Emmett Mc Glinchey was born in California and moved to Enniskerry when he was eight years old. Emmett studied at the Limerick School of Art and Design and Dun Laoghaire Institute of Art, Design and Technology and graduated in 2005 from IADT with a Bachelor of Arts.

In 2004 Emmett was selected by Wicklow County Council as there artist of the year for Wicklow and had great success with his Solo Exhibition in the Wicklow County buildings. In 2008 Emmett was selected as one of twelve runners-up winners of the inaugural Luas Art Competition

Emmett is continually infused by many artists such as Andy Warhol, Barbara Kruger, Peter Mars and M. C. Escher.

Emmett specializes in Screen printing also known as "silk screening" or "serigraphy".

Emmett has a Print Studio in Rosses Point, Co Sligo and an Art Gallery in Enniskerry, Co Wicklow.
